HEMP RESTRICTIONS

  • Notes on hemp restrictions: License required to plant, grow, harvest, possess, process, or sell industrial hemp. Mass. regulations apply only to wholesale market and not the retail market. State does not regulate the advertising and marketing of hemp-derived CBD. Defers to FDA and FTC regulations. State has restrictions on types of cannabis products containing hemp or CBD that can be wholesaled. Products including hemp seed, hemp seed oil, and items made from hemp fiber are all permitted. The sale of rolling papers of any kind to individuals under the age of 21 is prohibited.
